Is the Picolink wired in this way or 568A?
Pin 1 (rightmost pin on the connector) = C-, Pin 2 = C+. For example Pin 1 on PicoClasp goes to Pin 5 on RJ-45.
That diagram you sent is really bad because in how it labels the signals. TX±, RX±, TRD2±. TRD3±, it’s very confusing! The diagram below is much clearer. because it shows how the signals associate more clearly. In the case of our hardware, we follow this wiring which is TIA-568A
We wired for 568B, which is the most common in the US, before I saw your email and it seems to work, I’m guessing your switch handles the cross over to 568A or more likely the wires just ended up in the correct place with ethe Orange and green wires swapped
Oh, you’re right! I didn’t initially think of that but the switch will automatically detect and adjust for cross-over vs straight wiring. So technically you don’t need to get it right!
