Hello, we bought about 40 Gigastax switches in 2025 and we believe about 50% have been provided with no firmware (no flashing led pattern on startup). As far as we can tell they where supplied mixed, e.g. a bag containing 3x Gigastax had some programmed and some not.
As we use two gigastax in our system and they will not reliably sync to each other without the firmware this is not optional feature.
We have gone through all 40x and quarantined the ones with no firmware. We would like the program the 20x or so board to make them useful. How best to contact you? My colleague Daniel has raised a ticket and emailed you direct about 2-3weeks ag, i am now trying the forums.

To your issue, it is possible that you were shipped a combined of old and new units; the firmware is a relatively new addition and so some of the older shipping units haven’t been updated.
I’ve emailed your colleague Daniel just now with the firmware needed and below is a guide on how to upload the firmware.
