We wanted to clarify a point that has caused some confusion around the mechanical specifications of UbiSwitch.
Across different UbiSwitch hardware revisions, the PCB thickness has varied slightly. This means that older documentation, older drawings, or measurements taken from previous revision boards may not always match the current production hardware exactly.
As of January 2026, the PCB thickness for the following current UbiSwitch variants is:
- BB-UBS-B-2: 2 mm PCB thickness
- BB-UBS-B-2-NDAA: 2 mm PCB thickness
This applies to the PCB itself, not the total assembled height of the module including components and connectors.
If you are designing a carrier board, enclosure, mechanical fixture, or mounting system around UbiSwitch, please use the latest published mechanical drawing for your specific SKU and revision. If there is any conflict between older documentation and the latest revision-specific drawing, the latest drawing should be treated as authoritative.
