Question
We’re reviewing the documentation for GigaBlox and have come across both Revision C and a Revision D datasheet referencing BB-GGB-D-1-NDAA.
Is BB-GGB-C-3-NDAA the correct part number for the NDAA version? Does the standard Revision C datasheet apply to it, or is there a separate datasheet? Is Revision D an upcoming replacement?
Answer
As of September 2026, the current GigaBlox revision is Revision C, and BB-GGB-C-3-NDAA is the correct part number for the NDAA version.
The GigaBlox Revision C datasheet applies to both BB-GGB-C-3 and BB-GGB-C-3-NDAA. There are no functional or dimensional differences between these two parts.
Which part number should I use?
Use the following part numbers when specifying the Revision C hardware:
| Version | Part number | Applicable datasheet |
|---|---|---|
| Standard GigaBlox | BB-GGB-C-3 | Revision C |
| NDAA GigaBlox | BB-GGB-C-3-NDAA | Revision C |
The NDAA version does not require a separate datasheet for its functionality or dimensions.
What happened to Revision D?
Revision D was originally planned, but BotBlox ultimately decided not to proceed with it. The BB-GGB-D-1-NDAA reference comes from that planned revision and should not be treated as an upcoming replacement for Revision C.
If you have received a Revision D datasheet, use the Revision C datasheet linked above for the parts listed here.
Does the Revision C datasheet also cover earlier part numbers?
Yes. BotBlox has confirmed that the Revision C datasheet applies to the following part numbers:
-
BB-GGB-C-1
-
BB-GGB-C-CO1
-
BB-GGB-C-CO2
-
BB-GGB-C-3
-
BB-GGB-C-3-NDAA
For a specification or purchase request requiring the current NDAA version, use BB-GGB-C-3-NDAA together with the Revision C datasheet.
