Pressure tolerant Gigablox

Hello,

Are there any plans to PTE rate the gigablox switch? I don’t need the SFP and want to avoid the additional height of a board stack.

Hi Owen,

Since you mention “SFP” I assume you are referring to GigaBlox SFP. GigaBlox and GigaBlox SFP are separate products.

If you don’t need the SFP, then you’re better off using GigaBlox, rather than GigaBlox SFP. They’re essentially the same thing but GigaBlox SFP has a 1G SFP cage, and is larger.

We do actually have a pressure tolerant version of GigaBlox, called GigaBlox Revision D. This is not something available on our website though, so we would need to send you a quote.

There are currently no plans to make a pressure tolerance version of GigaBlox SFP.
