Hi, iam using doodle lab radio module ,Botblox ETH switch can help to increase data quality.
Thanks for the information. Do you have a question related to this?
Hi @josh-elijah hope you are doing well !
brother, I’m currently trying to configure the Botblox BB-UBB-A-1 (USB-to-Ethernet converter).
During the configuration, I tried and modify its MAC address to align with my laptop’s static IP network?
Like as
Bot blox Mac Add: 00:80:0F:78:AD:E3
Host/ Doodle Lab radio: 192.168.173.22
Also, I assume it won’t be pingable via the host device. Could you please guide me on configuring it with Doodle Labs Mini Mesh Rider Radios?
Section 3 of the datasheet explains how to install MPLab Connector Configurator and use it to change the configuration of USBlox.
So first you need to install that software. The user from Microchip explains how to change the MAC address on the LAN7800 chip (the chip on USBlox). The user guide is here, see page 103.
We don’t have a full step-by-step guide on this, but it’s relatively straightforward to follow the Microchip guide to change the MAC address. Give that a go first, then let us know how you get on.
For this,
Also, I assume it won’t be pingable via the host device. Could you please guide me on configuring it with Doodle Labs Mini Mesh Rider Radios?
I didn’t understand what you mean, which wouldn’t be pingable?
