Suggested termination for a non used port

I am considering of integrating GigaBlox Nano into a custom carrier board based on the provided schematic for GIGABLOX NANO RJConn. But I only need three ports. I am using the RJ45 connectors with magnetics. So I wonder what would be the recommended way of terminating the non-used port. I can see three approaches:

  1. Connecting differential lines by a 100 ohm resistor after the LSM-120 connector on the carrier board.
  2. The traces are short enough that do not need termination.
  3. Inserting only magnetics without the connector for the termination of the non used port.

You can leave the unused port unconnected and unterminated.
