# UbiSwitch IEEE1588 PTP Functionality

**Question:**

We’re interested in the UbiSwitch Module 3 x 10GBASE-R + 8 1GBASE-T Switch. Does this switch have the IEEE1588 PTP functionality?

**Answer:**

UbiSwitch does not support PTP, however we have a new product in development called RouterCore, which is a 16 x 1G + 3 x 10G router module, which will support PTP along with full layer 3 routing.
